Fished this morning with Mike Oltd and his family offshore on a half day trip. It was a little bumpy due to the tide pushin against the wind but fishing was productive catching lots of short red grouper but plenty of snapper as well as some small sharks. Thanks and see ya again.

The fishing has been great lately here in Naples, Fl. Offshore the target species has been red grouper and there has been lots of action along with other species from big goliaths to spanish mackeral. The weather has been great with possiable thunder storms every afternoon. Also there has been no sign of any oil near our coastline.

This morning I fished with Bret Strickland and friend Scott with his son Bennet. We loaded the well with bait but mostly small due to time of year. Made it to our first spot and was greeted with ins’t action as Bennet was landing big spanish one after another as well as Scott and Bret. Then every one landed big goliath as we went 5/7 on them. Bennet sealed the trip with his first king which about 18lbs. Great job gang and hope to see ya again.

This morning I fished with Brandon Phelps and his friends Brice and Tony on a 3/4 offshore trip. We filled the well with live bait and pushed offshore to a wreck for our first stop. Threw a hand full of bait in and was greeted with skying kings every where. Everyone caught a mess of them with largest about 35lbs. Plus the guys went 3/3 on goliaths. Thanks and hope to see ya again.

Today I fished with Brad and family on near shore trip in Naples, FL. Weather has been great and there is no oil. We made one stop and filled the well with white bait. Then we fished a near shore structure that was loaded with big spanish. Brad’s son Hunter had a blast catching them as well as bonito, big goliaths and a extremely large nurse shark that put up a great tug o war. Thanks gang for choosing Naples, Fl as your vacation and using us to take you on a wonderful fishing trip.

We started workin the bottom with lots of short groupers but moved out and had better action and larger fish landing 2 keepers along with multiple sharks. Thanks again.

This morning I fished a family of four. Stefan, Crissy, Brock, and Lauren picked up on the technique real fast. They all caught a bunch of fish from red groupers, lane snappers, grunts, porgies and other smaller fish. Lauren won the award for the prettiest fish a lane snapper, Brock got the award for two keeper grouper and at the age of 6 that’s a great accomplishment and the parents held their own catching a bunch of grouper too. Thanks gang and hope the grouper was good for lunch.

Today I fished with Wayne and Tracy on 6 hour trip offshore and we targeted red grouper. The tide was non existent first thing so the bite was real slow worked the bottom over for the first part of the morning catching only shorts. Made a move and the tide started to move and we ended the day with 2 nice reds and a bunch of lanes. Also more sharks then we would have liked. Thanks and see ya next time.
