This morning I fished with Steve, Julie, Brian and Rachel on a offshore trip. We had a great red grouper bite catching lots of them as well as 4 being keepers. I hope it was a great fish dinner and hope to see ya again.

Deep sea fishing 8/22

Today I fished a 8hr trip with Gary and Marcos offshore. We netted bait then made a run 27miles to wreck to try a little snapper fishing. Landed a few keepers but the goliaths were eating everything so we made a short move and limited out on red grouper to 28″. Stopped by another wreck and got the mangrove snapper to bite as well as a few decent size kings. The weather was great and so was the fishing.

Fishing offshore Naples 8/7

Steven Hancock and his three sons Steve, Matt and Johnnie went red grouper fishing with me today. We ran out about 9 miles and started dropping bait. We were able to catch a nice bunch of lane snapper, some grunts one keeper red grouper (24in) and 3 more that were less than a 1/16 in. short of legal. Johnnie was able to catch a small fine tooth shark making his day. Again no camera but Capt. Brandon is back from GA getting his hunting lease ready so pictures will be back. Thanks again to the Hancock family we hope to see you again.

Near shore 8/6

This morningI was luck enough to fish with the Bill Singleman family. We caught a mess of spanish mackerel on a near shore artificial reef. Also caught a few nice mangrove snapper and Bill fought and lost a massive cobia on very light leader meant for the snapper(20lb). On are way home we stopped in Gordon Pass for a few drifts and again Bill hooked a very large fish that he fought until he decided to tighten down the drag to either land it or lose it. He got it close enough to see and it was a big goliath grouper. Then it made one more surge and pow, line breaks. Hope you had as good a time as I did. Thanks!

Afternoon Fishing 8/5

I had the pleasure of taking Abdul Qadir and family for an afternoon of bottom fishing. We were able to catch many red grouper but none of legal size, luckily we were not fishing for dinner. All in all they had a great time and so did I! Thanks! Sorry no pictures, I lost my camera.

Today Rick Rivenberg and son’s had a great fishing experience! They were able to catch many spanish mackerel, a large barracuda, a nice goliath grouper and a fine mess of mangrove snapper. The weather was fine, fishing great and making new friends even better! Thanks!

8/4 Nearshore action

Today I fished a group of guys and the action was once again great. Caught lots of big spanish macks, a few snapper, a 40lb goliath and a 25lb cobia. The weather has been great as well as the fishing and should continue. Thanks

8/3 Great Fishin

This morning I fished with George, his sister Ann, along with her husband Will. We netted bait then got into a great spanish mack bite and caught a mess of them. Then made a move and got into the mangrove snapper.Kept 10 decent size ones for a fish taco dinner. George ended the trip with a 200lb goliath. Great job and see yall again.

7/29 Fishin in Naples is Fantastic

This morning I fished with the Hendrickson family on a nearshore fishing trip. We netted a well full of bait and got into a great Spanish mackerel, catching 40 to 50. Then moved offshore a little bit going 4/4 on goliath grouper to 100lbs.Thanks gang and hope to see yall again.

7/26 Offshore

Fished this morning with Mike Oltd and his family offshore on a half day trip. It was a little bumpy due to the tide pushin against the wind but fishing was productive catching lots of short red grouper but plenty of snapper as well as some small sharks. Thanks and see ya again.
