WE ARE STILL FISHING HERE IN NAPLES(NO OIL)
May 5, 2010 4:44 pm Fishing ReportsDue to both Capt. Brandon and myself having broken computers for the last 2 weeks you haven’t seen any reports. Well I’m going to try and catch-up for any and all that care. We have a few pictures but a poor memory on my part as to who and when. So I’m going to give you a snap shot of the last week or 2. The offshore fishing was good for a couple permit, a few gag grouper, many mangrove and lane snapper, a few king and spanish mackerel (they’ve just zipped on bye), and the old reliable goliath grouper. The inshore fishing was red hot for pompano with many limits of big fish, However that has slowed to a snails pace. Snook were in the mix also. Finally the tarpon have showed up and are starting to eat, Capt. Brandon has jumped a couple. The groups that fished with us here in Naples, were all great folks! The only one that is still fresh in my mind was today’s, a birthday trip for Denise Massie and her husband. They tarpon fished with Capt. Brandon but never got a bite. The tarpon were rolling everywhere around the boat. Her husband put it best when he told me at the dock ” I’ve never been flipped off so many time by so many tarpon”. THANKS TO ALL FOR TAKING THEIR TIME TO FISH WITH US WHILE IN NAPLES!
Tight Lines
Capt. Eric
