FISHING NAPLES
WITH CAPTAIN ERIC
I grew up around boats and water. Every chance we could, my father had us wetting a line. I loved fishing from a very young age. He also had us working at my family’s marina, Alexander’s Landing, on weekends and through summer breaks from school. I learned all about boating from working at my family’s marina. It’s still operated by my family, in Ohio, on Buckeye Lake.
After college, I moved to Florida in 1981. I started fishing the Gulf as soon as I arrived. I began working for a marine outfit as a mechanic, boat rigger and sales person.
Then, in 1988, I started fishing as a private and
charter captain for an outfit named Lone Wolf Charter Systems. I worked for "Lone Wolf" for over ten years. Our boats were located just a few docks south of Port-O-Call Marina, our current location. When the company divested and moved from Naples, I immediately started my own business, CAPTAIN ERIC, INC. That’s 20 years of fishing the Gulf of Mexico from Naples, year round.

A native of Naples, Brandon has fished these waters
all his life. Brandon is an avid sportsman. He is the
epitome of an outdoorsman. He enjoys fishing like
no other.
Brandon captains with me here, in Naples, on the
Solo Lobo, during the winter seasons. He spends his summer seasons fishing and hunting, as a captain and guide, on Kodiak Island in Alaska.
Brandon’s passion, energy and experience has been a great compliment to Captain Eric, Inc. He has been a welcome addition. I sure am glad to have him!
